"We Go Togetha..."

Days were so much simpler then...the high school days when you got in a "relationship" with a boy you would say:

"We go togetha."

And you would walk the halls with your hands in each others back pockets and everybody knew...yall went togetha.

Go to the skating rink and skate together on the slow songs...go to parties and dance with each other all night...go to the mall and walk around together and share food in the food court...and after 2 months it was done and on to the next one.

Ahhh the good ole days!

Now it's:

"We are in a relationship"

And you have to plan dates and try to come up with something creative and fun to do besides the usual dinner and a movie deal...we have talks about marriage and babies...bills and other grown up shit.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to the "we go togetha" days.
