So I was reading Nightfall's blog and he posed a question to the ladies:
How do you approach a man?
"Good question" I thought to myself.
I've often talked with my friends about how I don't approach men. I've always been taught that if a man is interested in you...he'll come to you.
So for a long time I would smile extra hard, flip my hair, touch their arm, giggle ALOT (even when shit wasn't remotely funny) and just wait....sometimes it worked out and sometimes it didn't.

My friends tell me I should open myself up more because men aren't a good judge of signals (alot of them aren't a good judge of actual communication either...but I digress) they have told me I should even approach men
*GASP*
I don't know how to do that...I've NEVER done that before...so...I pose this same question to the ladies:
How do you approach men? How do you get their attention?

How can a lady (key word...LADY) get your attention? What would leave a lasting impression?

For a woman to approach me, it's as simple as saying "Hi". Since most women don't do that anyway, I'd already assume that she wants my company.
Plus, she gets points for "knowing what she wants and going after it". Guys do take note of that.
From there, the possibilities are ...endless.
hmmm...that's a good question..U know i really don't know...I do approach men I'm interested in but its cuz I'm more of a flirt than anything. I giggle...smile and just flirt and before he steps off or i do the same i just ask for some form of contact...well i at least i think that's what i do!
@K: Maybe it's the men here, if I say Hi to a guy I'm iterested in they say Hi back and keep it moving...we'll make eye contact and such, flirt "long distance" and he'll never ask for the number...the one's I ignore ALWAYS come up sniffing ugh
@Sunshine: I'm a flirt, but not a bold flirt...I can't bring myself to ask for the contact info...I need to put on my big girl panties I guess
I've been taught that too but I'm also an equal opportunist who is a littler aggressive. I just walk up to a guy and say "Hello, My Name is ____ and I noticed you across the room." and of course they come back with some (un)smooth line and the flirting commences from there. I say, just say soemthing. Men can't read signals so sometimes just have to be direct with their simple asses. LOL
