Mama's Baby

I'm making my son into a mama's boy!

And I don't know how to stop!

Help?

Actually I'm aware of it and I don't really care that I'm making him into a mama's boy. I love my little man and I feel like he should be spoiled!

And even though I spoil my son rotten...I make sure that he has good morals and ethics instilled in him as well. But I treat my son just like I would treat my man...

  • He gets showers all week so on Sunday's he gets a bath and a rub down with baby oil.
  • He gets hot meals every night that I can possibly cook
  • He gets damn near every toy he asks for (maybe not when he asks for it...but he gets them eventually)
  • He gets taken to events whenever possible
All in all I will spend my last dollar on a pack of gum and give him my last breath even if he didn't need it. And I think that's what a parent should do right?

But back to the point of the blog...I spoil him...yes because my son deserves it, he's smart, he's kind, he's respectful, I don't think I could ask for a better son (maybe a little bit quieter...but you know) so one who does well gets rewards do they not?

ON THE FLIP SIDE...

I rule his world with an iron fist. I will NOT tolerate disrespect. When I say do something...do it...not at your leisure but NOW before I pop you in the mowf. I'll be quick to take EVERYTHING out his room...including his bed and he can see just how much we give him if he wants to act up and not appreciate everything he gets.

So yes...I spoil my son ROTTEN and I have no regrets. I treat my son like I would want his girlfriend/wife to treat him...I treat him like I would treat my man. I will do any and everything you ask of me provided you are worthy...but act up if you wanna...

It's real cold sleeping on the floor alone.

(Sidenote...I picked that picture because it reminds me of my dog Kobe...how cayooot is he?)

My son is only 14 months and you can't tell him he isn't the shit. I even got a shirt made for him that says "Walking Royalty". What? Shiiidd, my son is prince and I dare anyone to tell me otherwise. But honey, that little boy has a stubborn streak he gets straight from his momma. Or as my mom says, he got it honest.

Spoil your prince all you want!

yeah, I agree.....spoiling is GREAT IF you also teach them to appreciate it! I am like you, it can go away as quick as he got it! My son.....wait, scratch that, my children are my world!
