Too Soon

I knew you would be here eventually...especially with the weather change. I knew it wouldn't be long before you showed up, I did think I had another month to go, but I guess the cold weather came early and so did you.

Out of nowhere it seems you came and wrapped me in your arms...enveloping me in your embrace...making me feel things I hadn't felt in months. Making my eyes swirl within my head as if I had just gotten off a merry go round going at full speed. I feel short of breath when you're with me, like I'm restricted to half the normal amount of breaths each day that you are with me. You make me run hot all over...a few paces above my normal 98 degrees, no matter what I try to do to fight the fever you ignite in me, nothing works...it stays until you finally make your departure.

When you're around I have no time for anything but you...friends...men...etc, they mean nothing when you're around. If they call or text I can barely keep my eyes open...you are all I think of.

Who is this person that I'm talking about? This person sounds magnificent right?

I'm talking about a cold! Ole bastid got me sick :-(
