Oink, Oink, Oink

My baby is a statistic....he contracted swine flu (we think on tuesday)...felt warm on tuesday (his 6th birthday) and then wednesday when he came home from school he was sluggish and felt hot...took his temperture...102...went up to 103 later that night...next morning it was 99.8, I try to give him some chicken noodle soup and....it comes back up about 1/4 of the way through the bowl...take him to the doctor...fever is 100.3 when we get there but he's acting like himself so I'm know he's sick just don't know with what...hoping it's not flu. Doctor does a flu and strep throat test and 10 minutes later we find out that he has both

*super sad face*

He gets antibiotics and his fever breaks before the night is out...he ate for the first time yesterday (half a cheeseburger and a hot dog....hey! That's what he asked for!).

My poor tookie! Least him feel better now :-)

Sidenote: My baby got his first phone number on his birthday...went to the bus stop and the little girl from across the street was pulling his hand while me and his father were standing off to the side waiting on the bus...I see her pulling him out the corner of my eye so I look a little better to see what's going on, I hear her say:

"Come on! Come with me!"

"Just give it to my mom" my tookie says with a wave of his hand.

The little girl comes up to me and hands me a piece of paper with her phone number on it...so that my tookie can come to her birthday party...it took everything in me not to ball up the paper, throw it on the gruond and spit on it...5 year old heffa *eyeroll*
