First...how crazy does ^^^she look lol. Anyway, I neglected to mention to yall that I was propositioned last week.
This guy I know from high school follows me on twitter and he hit me with a DM last week:
"You have alot to say and more than a few followers. I think we should talk business..."
I respond:
"Your message is mysterious in nature, break it down for me if you will."
He replies:
"Good. It was worded to grab your attention...I'm putting together a networking event. I could use your help."
I respond:
"Always down to help, what's up?" (I'm thinking he wants me to pass out flyers, spread the word, etc)
So then he says its too much to tweet, to text him when I get a free minute (did I mention I haven't spoken to him since...uhhh...95 when he had a crush on me and I shot him down...which he still remembers...and tweeted about lol). So anyway, I text him, he says he'll call me...he does...we catch up briefly, and then he tells me about the event (which I won't go into since he asked me to keep it on the hush until it gets closer) but his proposition for me was to be a correspondant of sorts...mingle amongst the crowd, talk, flirt, etc...
"I want you to tweet out loud." he said
Ain't that some shit?
I told him I'd think about it, because no matter how open I seem here or on twitter...I'm really not a people person so I thought to myself...
"Could I really do this?"
Usually I don't initiate conversation with folks but once they get to talking to me it's on like popcorn...but I am being expected to walk up to random people and just say whatever the hell comes out of my mouth....and not look/feel like a fool.
Did I mention a camera would be following me to post the video to the website?
Yeah.
But he called me yesterday and asked if I had given the offer any more thought. And I responded:
"Yes, and I choose to accept."
2 drops of pee came out when I said yes. But, I see this as a good way to meet people and see a new side of my city.
Now I just gotta figure out what the fuck I'm gonna say :-/
