How the fugging fuckity fugg did I forget to tell yall about a convo I had with the ex?!
Wellllll...I dropped my son off to him on Saturday and I've been working on making our parental relationship stronger as well as our friendship...because before me and him got together, we were friends...and I miss that. But anyway, we sitting outside talking and I decided to hit him with a proposition that I had come up with...which was if by the time I'm 32 and I'm not with anybody, and he's not either....we should have another kid.
He looked at me shocked and said man shut up. And laughed. My face stayed the same..."no I'm serious"...he scoffed and shook his head. Then I went into the plan.
"You got a plan?" he asked me still not believing I was being serious. Oh but I was yall...very serious.
"I know you're a good father, and I've seen your product (our son), I'm impressed, and I want in."
"You want in? What is that supposed to mean?"
"I want in, if I don't have another kid, we can have one together. We make good looking kids, both of them will have the same parents, you're a good father, I'm a good mother, we raise educated children....why not? We could get a big house, you on one side, me on the other, kids in the middle...we are co-habitating parents. You can have your women on your side of the house, just make sure they know their role and don't come at me or my kids sideways. You'll always have a meal made, all that I ask is that you take out the trash, kill a bug, and be a father like you are now."
He looked at me up and down...I'm standing there straight face
"You serious about this?" he said.
"Yep...very serious, I don't expect an answer today...it's alot to think about, talk it over with your friends, your family, pray on it, whatever you need to do."
"You're crazy." he said with a laugh
"No, I just know what I want. But like I said, this would only happen if you nor I were involved with anyone...we're good looking people so the odds of that happening are slim...but just as a backup plan ya know."
"Riiiiiiiight" he said
"Just think it over."
I thought that was a pretty good proposition *shrugs* Weird? Yes. But still a good damned offer.

I don't think it's a bad idea at all. Id like my children to be all by the same person and at some point I'd like more than 1. For me, that's not gonna happen tho. The child I am having not WILL NOT have siblings by her father. It's just not gonna happen. But if you and he are on good terms then sure, why not. But the only thing is, the living in the same house thing with his chicks coming in and out, not so much. Now maybe living next door to eachother would be a better option but the same house would be uncomfortable for any woman he was with and may get uncomfortable for you.
But overall the idea doesn't suck.
To be honest?? It really isn't a bad idea when you think about it...

I jokingly/half seriously proposed this idea to a dude once and at the time he said, "Sure." Now his ass is having a kid with another chick.
Not a bad thought though since you'd already know what you're getting into.
girl you are not crazy. if i had the oportunity i would do the same thing. and i HATE my son's father. but i want more babies and i would love them to come from the same person.
