**brushes shoulders off**
So me and my girl go to a local club and I have no intentions of doing too much in the way of dancing because:
- My dress was short...though I had shorts on underneath it it would have still been inappropriate
- My shoes were made for standing and limited walking...not dancing
- My makeup was done way too fiercely to be sweating it off
- My hair was styled perfect...every strand in place...and I wanted it to stay like that
Well...I went because I like to go out, have a drink with my girl(s) and dress up and look nice...and I like compliments. If I ever feel sad or down or whatever have you a night at the club is the best medicine, you get dressed in your party dress, do your makeup, coif your hair and step out in your stilettos and watch the men drool over you, they come up and compliment you, tell you how pretty/beautiful/stunning you are, try to buy your affections through alcohol, flirt and try to take you home all to end up getting shot down...well I shoot them down, as I've stated before I don't talk to dudes out the club...just not the first impression I want to set.
"Is there a point to this story?" <---you being disrespectful n shit
Yes there is a point...I kinda got side tracked **blushes** so anywho, I'm two stepping in my party dress looking like a million bucks (okay...maybe more like a couple hundred) and some random jerk face fuck proceeded to smack my ass!
How fucking dare he!
I turn around and frown my face extra hard, "Don't do that...that's not cool." And turn back around and continue two stepping...so a few minutes later his friend (I'm assuming) taps my shoulder, I turn around, my face already laced with much attitude, his friend proceeds to tell me how I'm gorgeous...while he's doing so, ole jerk ass fuck face proceeds to put his hand in my hair...I whip my neck around like Linda fucking Blair
"Don't put your fucking hands on me no gat dayum more! You don't fucking know me!"
He shrugs and kinda laughs...like it's a fucking joke! Which made me think...damn, black women are some of the most sexually harassed people on the planet.
Sexual Harassment is described as uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical behavior of a sexual nature...
Ladies, how many times has a man grabbed you or said something sexual in nature to you that made you want to vomit in your mouth? I can't even count how many times that has happened to me...I can remember the one of the first times it occurred though...I was 12, at the beach with my parents...and it sexual commentary (which was quite colorful) was from some (what appeared to be) college age men...but that's another blog entirely.
So how did this sexual harassement become okay? Probably because if a guy is attractive and says something "slick" we'll laugh and all is right with the world but if said slick talker is not our cup of tea we are quick to call him disrespectful...but I don't care how attractive a guy is...how much I'm digging the kid, if he puts his hands on me in a sexual manner we have a problem...a big one.
So ladies any stories?

For some reason, dudes seem to think any woman wearing a short skirt or low-cut shirt is giving them an invitation to cop a feel. And they always use the same lame-ass excuse: "Well, I wouldn't try nothing if you weren't wearing (insert revealing item here)."
To be blunt, I don't give a fuck. I should be able to wear what I want without being molested by a stranger. I think you're right about women allowing it depending on how attractive the guy is.
I agree! Women should be able to dress however they see fit without having to be disrespected by some stupid little boy.
