Suckers Jump Up to Get Beat Down

Okay...I haven't really addressed the whole Chris Brown/Rhianna situation and really this post isn't going to be about their situation per say...but they inspired it, so let's just get to it:

Men hitting women = wrong

Yes, we know that. But something in me kinda says...this is gonna sound bad but...she asked for it.

Now again, not condoning men hitting women, not saying it's wrong under any condition...

BUT...I think the whole altercation went down as such:

She got mad about his phone or whatever and questioned him...in an aggressive manner, he told her to chill, she kept going, fingers in his face, neck rolling, cursing etc. He told her to chill again. She smacked him or punched him, he grabbed her hands (while driving) and she continued to hit him...and at the point he flipped and hit her.

I don't HARDLY think that Chris Brown just flew off the handle and pummled her because she asked him a question, sorry, just doesn't seem plausible to me.

Again....I reiterate....again....it's not right for a man to hit a woman.

BUT...if a woman jumps up in a man's face, putting her hands on him etc, she is risking that said man will put his hands on her in some form or fashion. We emerge out of the womb trained to protect the most important thing we possess....

Our bodies.

If we are threatened (as would be in a physical altercation) it is by nature instilled in us to protect the one thing that we cannot lose, our bodies.

It is no different for a man even if it is a woman who is by comparison quite a smaller figure.

I didn't watch the interview she did because quite frankly the bitch makes me sick to my stomach, she didn't take her experience to actually help women who have suffered from domestic violence...being that I have actually experienced an abusive relationship of sorts I find it particualarly offensive. She kept her silence for so long and got hair cuts and Morticia Adams-esque nails and clubbed and yodeled on some records and then months later (convienetly when her album is set to drop) she goes on national TV and plays the victim...to that I say:

BITCH. BOO. BYE.

HMmmmm.

I agree with the idea that perhaps their was "aggravation" on her part which is speculation of course. My issue is that you don't use a fire hose to put out a match. Chris Brown ain't The Rock but I'm pretty sure he didn't have to Buster Douglas the chick.

Buuuuuuuut it is what it is. I honestly don't think there any thing either one of these kids could do that would be viewed as "right".So in leaving the realm of entertainment and celebrity, I know that for me personally no one puts their hands on me period.

But I wont stomp a chick out that's in violation either.

I agree with your idea of what went on in the car. She played a major role in it I'm sure, not saying she deserved all of that...but I'm sure she egged him on.
I've watched girls walk up to men and just slap the shit out of them for "rumors" that they've heard. A little part of me thinks if you bold enough to just go punch dude in the face..you need some consequences..not tht severe, but still there needs to be some form of consequence. Im sooo over this whole Chris and RHi thing though. Too drawn out....

I think it was too convenient to have an interview right before your album drops. Kinda tacky, but I can see her handlers telling her to do that.

Everyone should keep their hands to themselves. There are too many other options in the world than either in a relationship to get so upset they have to abuse.

If a woman hits me, I won't whoop her ass. But I ain't dealing with her no more. If in the heat of the moment, I deal with her again. It might be bad for her self-esteem b/c I treating her with the disrespect she showed me. So usually I'm just DONE.

i completely agree. i dont even read about it anymore. i didnt watch the interview. i mean just like you said she is having an interview when her album is about to drop? hmmm thats all a part of the publicity stunt. smh. I mean i have went on to swing at men before and dont get me wrong none of them have ever hit me but honestly they could have. if they felt their life was in danger hmmm i mean they have a name for it lol. self defense.
