I complain that there's nothing to do here, I complain about the people here, I complain about the club scene....I complain about alot...I won't even hardly lie about that.
BUT...
I pay my local taxes, I support local businesses, I even work here which means I'm supporting the infrastructure. In other words....I've paid my dues, I'm entitled to say anything I like about my city....however...
Out of towners...are not HARDLY entitled to that. Don't fix your mouth to say shit about MY city if you haven't paid your figurative dues.
And definetly keep your mouth shut if you've never even been here. Folks quick to say shit about another place when all they did was ride 95 through here, or came here when they were 2 years old for one day. Would you go to a brain surgeon and tell him how to perform a surgery when you haven't done anything but seen a book on it? No? It's the same thing essentially.
I talk shit about my city, no doubt, that's true. But I am a Richmonder till I DIE, to disrespect my home is to disrespect me.

Gotta respect that. I bleed Yankee Blu for NY so you already know....
I guess this makes sense... cant really relate because I moved so much that I havent really developed a "love" for any city. I mean i like bmore and New Jersey equally but i dnt care if someone says something negative especially if its true. Bmore has hella crackheads and smells like ass so if someone says it, i just say "yeah, you right". LOL
good post tho.
@Eaglebird: I'd say that this post wasn't directed to people I don't have direct contact with so you're entitled to your opinion because since I don't know you I don't give a fuck. Oh....and I'd also say fuck you.
@Nightfall: "We here....we here."
@Khaki: Thank you my waffle colored sister from another mister
lol @ waffle colored.
Ehh respect respect!!
My city aint hardly as big as Richmond (I mean, seriously it's tiny), but I feel the same way about it. I hate for somebody to say some ol dumb shit bout where I'm from and they never really been here.
