Let's say you wanna impress a man/woman but you dont have that much time...dis hea...dis hea fo you.
Crab cakes, scallops, rice, and creamed spinach
I was REEEEEEEAL lazy so everything is packaged. But you know, a meal is what you make it!
I started with:
A box of crab cakes, and a bag of scallops. Preheat the oven to 350, throw them crab cakes in for 20-25 minutes. I sprayed the bottom of a cookie sheet with Pam spray and then covered the pan with seafood seasoning, put the crab cakes on the cookie sheet and then covered the crab cakes with seafood seasoning (remember...when seasoning...a little goes a long way).Next the scallops, I washed them off (hate that fishy smell) and cut each one into 4 sections (you can cut into 2 sections but these things were huge) while I was cutting them, I melted a stick of butter in a frying pan, threw in some pepper and a dash of salt along with some lemon juice and let that simmer till I was done cutting. Then I put the cut scallops into the butter bath and sauteed for about 5-7 minutes.
Next comes the sides...
Stouffers creamed spinach...super easy! Comes in a bag, boil some water and then slip that bag in the water...let boil for 15 minutes and take out. That's it! (I highly recommend throwing some salt and pepper in there...maybe even some onion salt because the shit was bland to me before I did that. And Minute rice...I don't care what nobody say....that's some good damned rice! Follow the instructions on the box (bring water to a boil...put in rice...fluff) and you good to go. Right before you take the rice off the eye, throw in a 1/4 stick of butter (depending upon how much you made of course...less if you making rice just for you) and FOLD into the rice...don't stir, you'll break up the rice.
I finished making that in less than 30 minutes and trust it was BAAAAANGING!(Sorry I didn't plate the food to give you authentic presentation but it was like midnight lol...I do my best cooking late at night)
