Dead @ "pacific." I had a co-worker who used that word in the wrong context daily, and it irked my soul more than I could ever explain.
Another one I thought of while watching this: I work in customer service for a phone company and several customers say "SIMS card." It takes everything in me not to say, "......You mean SIM card???" And it's usually the country folks that say it that way......
@CleanBroke: I don't know what it is about the letter S that is so inticing to the human tongue but we LOVE to put it on words even though it doesn't belong lol

I (slyly) try to educated the customers I speak with
"Can you give me a pacific reason?"
"I'm sorry a what?"
"A pacific reason..."
"OOOOOH...you mean SPEcific? Sure..."
