Okay, so as most of you know...I wrote a book! Finally its finished! After what? 5 years? I finally finished it, I've been getting good reviews on it so far, I tend to be too intricate in the clothing area but what can I say, I love clothes and when I read I like to be able to see stuff in my head, but I can appreciate that not everybody does that so I will go back to edit (also Trish, I'm gonna take you up on that Spanish translation soon mama). So now I find myself with a lot of time on my hands and having that writing itch again, I want to take a break from the characters I spent so much time on (because there is a part two yet to be written) and write about other characters.
My question to you...what would you like to read about?
Pretty much everything I can think about has already been done (not necessarily in a good way, but nonetheless done) At 25 I find myself in a different place as far as my writing goes, instead of writing about the typical 'Flyy Girl' and 'Coldest Winter Ever' type of genre I find myself drawn more to writing in this genre but with an adult twist if that makes sense. So I just wonder what is something that would catch your eye if you were looking for a new fiction book? What kind of character can you relate to? What kind of story would you find interest in?
Help me make the black fiction scene better cause goodness knows its lacking severely...I haven't read a good book in about 2 years.
