So....all jokes have some amount of reality to them, that's what makes them humerous...so this was funny to me...but being a black woman it's like...

I'm a single black woman...yes...I'm not however a bitter/money hungry/lazy/10 kid having/5 different baby daddy chasing/clubbing every night/whore/bitch, and let the media (and a large number of black men) tell it, if you're not married/"wifed up" then you are damaged goods.
If I do say so I'm a fucking catch, not to toot my own horn but I'm attractive, smart, driven, funny, a GREAT mother, generous...shit, I could go on and on with my good qualities. And I know other single black women who are just as great as I...and I also know some that are full of shit and I would shoot myself in the foot to avoid. But the good and the bad comes with everybody, of every race, hell it comes with EVERYTHING! There is no such thing as something that is "all good"...can you name one? I'll wait...
Personally I think it's because we ride for our brothers till the end...they can dog us out, they can beat us, leave us, whatever and we still want a "good BLACK man"...we turn a man down when he asks for our number and after that he's "off black women"...I'm not saying it happens like this all the time nor am I pointing any fingers in an accusatory fashion...BUT...often other people (men and women of other races) are often open to dating outside of their race, black women (for the most part) are not...why are we so loyal to a group that can, will, and HAS replace us on a whim?
I also have another question...why is it that single black women are focused on but black men never really come into play? I mean that is a portion of why we are single...right?
Now in the video something was said about "good black men"...now I never say there are no good black men left, I know that would be a falsehood...but let's be honest, there aren't good black men on every damned street corner, no every street corner is filled with....

Uneducated...
And just overall got alot more "ain't gots" than he got "gots" but I don't see movies about them, I don't see blogs about them, I don't see jokes about them...not nearly as much as I see the same about black women...
Guess it's just something we have to live with

Honestly I think that idea is HIGHLY over played and gives way more attention to a minority then the actual majority of Black men. In America EVERYONE is and honestly should be open to any person that has love for them.
This vid was actually the 1st of a few vids and "sorry ass black men" were taken to account for their shit too.
We deal with a world that puts more light on the losers and ignores the fact that there are more then enough winners out there.

In part because there is a strong group of black women that embrace that stance. Unfortunately it's two fold. Yes many black men don't do there part....you couple that with a "I don't need no man" mentality and it makes for an easy target. White men do things to their female but of course America wont shine light on its own. Many HiSpanic men strong arm their women too but that seems more rooted in the culture at times. And Asians mainly keep things in house.
We have issues and we make our issues public now the world is sitting around watching. It's too late to tell them to do away. :(
The black introduction to America already sets us apart from everyone else. So in truth everything we do is a monkey in the cage show for the public.
