So I proceed to ask him what he would give me on a scale of 1-10
*closes eyes tightly and waits for his reply*
"A 6." -him
"I was hoping for at least a 7." -me
"A 6 is decent, I think my girl is a (7 or 8...I can't remember which he said) and Stacy Dash/Halle Berry are 10's." -him
Now I never thought about the grading system for guys...I figured (in my mind) if I would do a guy he's an automatic 5 and then he can either gain or lose points based on other attributes (personality, smarts, wealth, humor, etc) but the grading scale should be solely on looks right?
So what does Epitome do when she's curious?

This is what I came up with....
1-3 = Beast. These are the people that reduce your confidence after sex, not increase it. You wake up the next day and wonder, “What was I thinking?”
4-5 = Okay. A person you wouldn’t introduce to your friends, but is bangable. They probably have about 10 extra pounds, some mild acne, and a sense of style that makes lumberjack shirts look awesome. You want to put people like this is the fuck-buddy bin.
6-7 = Cute. A girl/guy who is attractive and extremely bangable, and your friends wouldn’t hesitate to say “I’d hit.” On some nights they can do something different (i.e. makeup, haircut, outfit) that can make them appear extremely attractive. girl/guy-next-door cuteness. They have no major flaws and is girlfriend/boyfriend material for 90% of guys/girls.
8 = Real Cute. Reaction from your friends will be “Damn, she’s/he's cute” or “Oooh she’s/he's real nice.” The hotter a person is, the less they've had to work on their personality to be liked by others. Because their looks have been enough to get them what they've wanted throughout their entire life, they do not have the training or desire to go the extra mile to please and engage you.
9-10 = Hot as balls. To get a girl/guy here you will need a little bit more than just game, perhaps status or fame with a healthy dose of luck. The only difference between a 9 and 10 is makeup, clothing, lighting, or photoshop, so therefore 10′s do not exist naturally in the wild.

If I had to rate myself, I would probably say I'm about a 7. I could stand to lose about 15 pounds. If I did, I might shoot up to an 8 or 9. LOL
I guess for women we don't rate solely on looks. We understand the looks fade but a good personality and heart don't.

I don't do any rating systems. It's childish type thing to me. Either I think you're attractive or I don't. There is no in between.
We've all gotta mental rating system I suppose, so why not?!?
I don't know if true perfection exists, but if it does Halle Berry and Stacy Dash are it.
I'm still thinking that a couple of years from now some woman will come to the forefront that is in a class by herself. In hopes of that, I'd give Halle and Stacy a solid 9.
I don't have a problem with the 10 point scale, but I don't like to think of myself screwing anything under a 6. I mean we've all been in a tight before, but come on.
The scale is kinda decieving because there are a lot of unattractive people who still have a sexiness about them.
@Monique: I'd say I was a solid 7, if I lost a few lb's I'd be a solid 9, a 10 if we are incorporating personality, drive and other factors so I'm right there with ya gurl!
@Nightfall: judge not! That dude may have had a rough month or three or something like that...though I'd never sleep with anything beyond a 5 personally

I'd do a 5 if his personality was right (actually I HAVE done that)...I can't give the cookie to somebody based solely on looks alone, there are other factors that HAVE to come into play...you can be the FINEST dude I have ever ever EVER laid eyes on and I will not lay down on my back (or stomach, or side, or wherever else) to give you nann nothing if your attitude is shitty.

i'm not with the scales. cause there is so much that fucks up ppl's "attractiveness" to me. like a real sexy chick, on the wrong day, wrong angle, wrong clothes on..will drop drastically. if she's on her period she will plummet to a 2 till she goes off of it. so yanno..maybe i'm not the best judge. lol
