Pay Attention

I read in Dan Brown's book The Lost Symbol about the Bible and how some people take it so literally when really it's message is to be interpreted...basically a few of the characters were attempting to convey to the main character (Robert Langdon) that God does in fact reside in every one of us and that we have capabilities that could be considered God like but we don't hone the energy because we aren't aware we have it so when something occurs to us we disregard it...that struck a nerve with me, yes I know it's just a fictional book but every piece of fiction comes with a little bit of truth...call me crazy, nuts, whatever, it's just what I believe. Think about it, there are psychic people in the world...more frauds than there are psychic but yes I believe some people do have psychic abilities. Look at those people who hit the lottery more than once...can that REALLY be explained as having luck? Come on 'luck' is so rare anyway and for it to hit twice? In the same place? Look at mothers, they are connected to their children...when my son was a baby I could pick his cry out in a nursery full of babies with my back to the room he was in...there have been times when I felt uneasy at work and sure enough there was a call placed to me by the school sometime later, an even better example of this is twins. I've read countless articles about how one twin felt something was wrong with the other or knew the moment when one twin passed away.

But I'm getting off subject *veers car off shoulder and back onto road*

So yeah I believe ALL people have a 6th sense about things but just don't pay attention to it. My best friend (who is gonna make me a god mom in a few short months *does the running man*) has this ability to predict someone making contact (that sounds spooky as shit huh). We will talk on the phone and she'll say:

"So have you talked to *insert someone I haven't talked to in months/weeks name here*?" -her

"Nah girl I haven't heard from that negro since xyz time." -me

Within a week I'm getting a call, text, email, smoke signal from the person she mentioned...EVERY...SINGLE...TIME.

One weekend I had made plans for some extracurricular activities (hehehe) and I knew my period was due the Tuesday after this particular weekend, we were sitting in the car and she says...

"Hope you don't get your period!" -her

"Aww dammit why'd you say that!???!" -me

Next morning I woke up and had my period (-_-)

So my bestie's a little psychic, and me? Well I've always been a very good judge of character...did I always listen to what my subconscious was telling me? Well of course not! That would be too much like making sense! I always shrugged it off and figured it was fear or some other emotion, but in the end, my first mind was indeed my right mind I cannot tell you how many times (after everything was said and done with a person) I've said "I knew they were sneaky/lying/cheating/etc from the start." Since I've gotten focused on what I need to do in my life I feel like I've 'quieted' my mind, when your mind is quiet you notice things you didn't before and that gift of 'reading' people has been magnified it seems. I've noticed where I'm getting vibes from people that just aren't right...haven't said one word or even breathed in a person's direction and I'm getting warning signals of sorts that tell me to stay the fuck away. I believe people have auras and different energies, can I actually see a golden colored light emitting from someone's person? No lol, I wish it were that simple, go into a room and make a checklist...

"Okay so Keisha has a pink aura, that seems pretty cool, Frank has a sunsety type aura, that's awesome, ooooooo, Nicole and Patrick have these greenish brown swampy type auras *makes note to steer clear*"

Nah...we are very accepting that objects absorb or emit energy so why not people too?

If you believe in creationism or evolution both ideologies have a common factor (kinda) that humans either were built (by God) or that humans evolved from an organism...essentially (and maybe I'm reaching) both say that humans were built/made/created from the Earth...yes? So that would imply that (just like a child connects with their parents) we have a connection to Earth...yes? And that when in tune and aware we can feel/detect certain things that occur with/on the Earth...yes? I could be reaching, that is quite possible...but it there is a 50/50 shot that I'm dead the fuck on #JustSaying.

Sorry yall, I always wanted to be a scientist but I'm bad at math sooooo yeah :-)
